Forgiveness is necessary

Almost all religions and modern schools told us about forgiveness (not all off course). Some persons can apologies twice or even more during just one day. In formal situations in transport, and even for betrayal or infidelity.

But in middle of our soul (or just mind) is really hard to forgive. One of the obvious sign, when we don’t forgive in truth, it is strong emotions in memory. If we still feel deep anger, upset, desire to revenge, and even blood lust, when we remember some bad situations in our life, so we don’t forgive.

It is hard to realize, that the need for forgiveness, writing off debts is obvious and necessary. And even from a pragmatic point of view, because we can not support too many debts and insults by our consciousness, it can drain too much mental resources.

It is more difficult to support the "book of insults" of Davi (dwarfs from Warhammer Age of Sigmar fantasy Universe), when the list became longer and longer.

Forgiveness is an important skill, it is necessary to develop it (but sometimes extremely hard). This is not a forgetting, because forgetting, in my opinion, is an actual flight, retreat.

But the removal of emotional chains to negative events, situations in the past, to unreasonable people, often associated with these events and situations, is the real Forgiveness. But the information must be preserved and turns into an experience, wisdom. Wisdom, that helps to avoid such negative events, consequences, contacts in the future.
