Nature and Environment

The World Section We live on natural resources, we are part of Nature, our environment is a partially modified components of nature, we have no any reality, except it. So why very important to understand, that we have no any opportunity except living in balance with Nature, because we are a part of Nature, it is our the one home.

It can be highlighted some stages of human-nature behavior:

  • Stage 1. At the beginning humans scary natural powers, we are afraid of it and don’t understand it. So we tryed to live in balance with Nature, because have no any opportunity to survive.

  • Stage 2. After that long period of time, technology allowed us to change nature, to change world around us. So why humans became a conquerors of nature, hunters became a ghostly gods.

  • Stage 3. We understood (still not all), that previous stage can lead us to extinction, that powers of humanity have own limitations, so we are not gods here. Nowadays we try again to live in balance with Nature, because have no any opportunity to survive.

  • List of articles about Nature and Environment.
Almost all peoples like Nature and think, that we need to save it. But in fact they usually don’t accept limitations, that brings idea of nature saving. This paradox also connected with psychology and society and distribution of wealth. So why we can accept limitations in general, but don’t want to accept it personally.

In my opinion the key decision in nature saving lay in wise management, not just in garbage sorting or green energy. Some “green” technologies just distribute damage, not reduce it (an even grow it). For example, plastic garbage from Europe just moved to South Asia.

Without reducing of consumption, without wise management of natural resources we can’t reach goals. Modern technologies can’t replace banal wisdom and modesty.
